Description: Explores the use of visual images in the production and dissemination of anthropological knowledge. Examines the choices made in the production of photographs and films, and the politics of representation. The examination of choices made in producing images will be used to consider choices made in the production of anthropological texts.

Prerequisite: 15 points at Stage I in Anthropology Restriction: ANTHRO 212, 320
