Description: Examines how public communication shapes and is shaped by broader changes in society. Explores the evolution of language, media narratives and public understanding over time in relation to social issues such as: the representation of marginalised groups in society; environmental challenges; the changing nature of Aotearoa New Zealand society; and global societal trends.
