Description: Are we all equal before the law? Or are groups treated differently by the criminal justice system? With particular emphasis on indigenous peoples in New Zealand, Australia and Canada, this course examines the impact of differential practices on inequalities and collective efforts to achieve social change. Concepts of restorative justice are central to this course.
