Description: Provides an understanding of contemporary artistic practice relevant to students' developing artistic interests. Students engage with current art and/or design ideas, methodologies and positions and become experienced in understanding their own practice in relationship to contemporary practices in an increasingly reflexive manner. Consists of the supervised completion of a number of prescribed briefs from which students select.

Prerequisite: FINEARTS 101, 102, 103 and 104 or FINEARTS 100 Corequisite: FINEARTS 203
