Description: Considers virtual and tactile methods of production in contemporary art. Investigates the tension where the physical and virtual worlds are woven together. In mixed realities, the line between analogue and digital artmaking is blurred. This course provides an opportunity to experiment with technologies which might include 3D printing, real-time and interactive technologies, laser cutting, digital casting, and 3D scanning.
