Description: Introduces the study of the language acquisition-rich classroom by considering how a second or foreign language is learned, and explores different aspects of language teaching from the perspective of language learning and factors responsible for individual differences in learning. Students will consider concepts and research in instructed language learning in relation to classroom, institutional, and broader social and political contexts.
